Purity
The purity of a diamond refers to the presence of internal and external inclusions. These can come in various forms, such as crystal inclusions, scratches, stains, air bubbles, clouds, or black inclusions.
Colors
Diamonds allow light to be reflected and dispersed like a rainbow of color. This slight dispersion, or flash of color, has no effect on the technical color evaluation. The rarest stones without any color carry an estimate of D, descending with each letter of the alphabet down to Z, indicating a light yellow, brown, or gray diamond.
