What is the difference between palladium white gold and Platinum?

Visually on a new piece of jewelry, there is very little difference between 18 K 750/1000 gold and 950/1000 Platinum.

It's over time that you will see some differences between the two most precious metals in the world.

The main advantage of 950/1000 Platinum is that it is naturally white unlike gold. Your platinum-made jewelry will stay white for a lifetime. For maintenance, all it takes is a polish every 2 years or so to restore the original aspect of your jewelry.

The downside of platinum being purer and more flexible than gold is that it tends to pick up daily mini scratches more. That's why over time, Platinum becomes a bit more matte, grayer than Palladium white gold. We can advise men who are looking for a matte look to their wedding ring to choose platinum.

Palladium white gold will stay whiter and shinier over time than Platinum.
