Side Stone Engagement Rings
Maria Ring
Reference : MARIARGDrawing its inspiration from the experiences of Parisian women who have made their mark on great history, Celinni dedicates this new engagement ring adorned with a 0.66 carat oval white sapphire to a modern heroine, without whom science would not have known the advances that have been hers: Marie Curie. Supported by 2 pear-cut diamonds set with 4 round diamonds, decreasing on the ring body, for a total weight of 0.45 carat, the central stone of this ring, the sapphire, is highlighted. Architecture has always had a particular influence on the creation of jewelry pieces. The Maria solitaire ring is no exception to the rule, drawing inspiration from the Pierre and Marie Curie Institute in Paris. Each corridor of the institute has a different color, which immediately allowed the designers of Celinni to make the connection with the sapphire, which has a vast spectrum of colors, thus pushing them to select one and place it at the center of this sumptuous ring. Similarly, the openings of the building's corridors are oval-shaped, which obviously facilitated the selection of the shape of the central stone.
This Maria engagement ring pairs perfectly with the wedding band of the same name, Maria, made of 2 intertwined rings that represent both the couple Pierre and Marie Curie, united in life as in work, and the union between physical sciences and medicine, which animated Marie throughout her life.
The Maria solitaire is presented in 18K rose gold, but can also be made in eco-responsible 18K white or yellow gold or in 950/1000 platinum.
