The extremely rare Paraiba tourmaline is appreciated for its neon blue, green, and blue-green hues. Although elle is traditionally mined in Brazil, distinct deposits are also found in Nigeria and Mozambique. The prices of Paraiba tourmaline have dramatically increased in recent years. It is considered one of the most expensive and valuable stones.
